Tomorrow Belongs to Us: Cristel’s Future, the Return of the Moreno Children… The Secrets of Ariane Segion

Alocine: What assessment did you make after your arrival? Tomorrow belongs to us ?

Ariane Séguillon: Nice assessment. Great popularity thanks to the series. Thank you, because popularity in this profession is a great opportunity. Friendship too. It’s funny everyday because you take on a character and own it. At first we write a well-defined character and finally we bring it a little closer to us. And then sometimes, the authors take it a little bit further. It’s very interesting to follow the character over time because it belongs to you.

Going back to The Adventures of Tomorrow, what did you like about playing Christel?

His family. My dream would be to stay with one man for the rest of my life. I find that pretty awesome.

The Moreno family is undoubtedly the one that has undergone the most remarkable evolution. They started out as a middle-class family, hit the jackpot over a year ago, and are now living the life of millionaires. Are you surprised by this radical change?

I found it very amusing. It is also an evolution that can give hope. They were the poorest, but they always remained the most united. Money does not bring unity in a couple and happiness in a family. It’s strange that when they had money, they had the most problems (laughs). I find it very interesting to be treated like this.

I have a friend who often says:Money doesn’t buy happiness, it makes you happy“It’s true that buying more stuff and going on weekends or holidays is more fun for them.

I really like how it was written. At first they were a little lost with all that money. They did everything. They wanted to learn good table manners and become more bourgeois. As they became more and more miserable, they finally decided to go back to who they were, but with the means to help others. They remained simple people and I like that.

What awaits Krystel in the next episodes?

A lot is going to happen for Christel. He will continue to bet. It will be quite funny.

Christine and Mariana (Luce Muschel) came very close. How do you see this relationship?

I love the relationship between these two women. We’re having fun with Lou Muchel. I really like working with him. Mariana has a slight sense of superiority over Krystel, but in the end she is attached to her. But it’s true that Kristel gets involved in many things that don’t concern her (laughs).

On the part of the family, we can only hope to see Betty again soon (Lou John), I SSS (Madder Teillet) and Dylan (Joaquim Foss) does tomorrow belong to us?

Of course ! Sylvain and Christel still have children. It’s true that Lou Jean, Garance Teillet and Joaquim Fossi have other artistic lives besides Tomorrow, but they can return at any time.

In the end, we see very little of Christel in her role as a social worker at the hospital. Is this something we can see developing soon?

I hope one day, but at the moment it’s not planned.

Charlie’s Relationship (Clemens Lassalas) and Kristel is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful in the series. Anything coming soon for them?

Events will actually happen. Admittedly, they are a little less close now that Charlie is in a relationship. What I love about this relationship is that it reminds me of my life. I have this relationship with my stepmother who I knew when she was a year old. I love. She looked a bit like my daughter. So I often use that relationship to play out my relationship with Charlie. I also really like Clemens in real life.

Do you have any special wishes for your character or an object that you want to protect through it?

I would love to see the social worker side of it. I want to have a plot where Christel cares about people. I really want to go back to that a little bit.

Do you have any other projects outside of the series that you’d like to tell us about?

I am going to make a movie of my book “La grosse”. I’m very happy. Usually, I’ll write a second book. It’s a little hard for me now, but I’m trying. And then, I’m going to do a one-woman show. I did one called “Mauvais poil” in 2008, but it will be less crazy. I will be alone on stage with a few characters. I really want to return to the stage. I am also still playing in Amanda Sters’ play “Thalasso”. This summer I will also play in Avignon, Corsica in July and Israel in September.
