An 11-year-old girl spread notes with a request for help in the neighborhood, in the Vila Toninho neighborhood, in São José do Rio Preto, in the interior of São Paulo, on Thursday 11. The case was reported by neighbors and is being investigated by the Civil Police, through the 7th Police District of São José do Rio Preto.
The girl said she and her 8-year-old brother had often been attacked by their parents. Faced with the complaint, the Civil Police went to the girl’s home, but she did not find her brother and her legal guardians.
The Guardianship Council found that the girl’s parents have no precedent in the childhood court.
Terra contacted the 7th Police District, the Sectional Police Station and the 1st Flagrant and Assistance Center of São José do Rio Preto via email and phone, asking for updates on the case, but without success until this was closed relationship.
