Un Si Grand Soleil preview: Monday, May 22, 2023 episode recap [SPOILERS]

Lauryn is willing to do anything to destroy the estranged couple

The atmosphere is particularly tense among the Moors. As Louis complains, Mark tries to figure out what’s going on. Without beating around the bush, the teenager asks his father if the woman he’s been seeing is really Robin’s mother. Before the reporter reminds him that it’s none of his business, Louis loses his temper and berates him for blowing up the Cresson family as well as being friends with Robin. After making excuses for her, Mark claims that he did nothing to tempt Chloe and that it fell on him. in vain Angry Louis goes and slams the door.

Meanwhile, Chloe wants to find a way out of this situation. As Evan implies that he wants to leave her, Chloe sheds a few tears. Although she admits she made a huge mistake, the clerk insists she would never question their relationship if he cheated on her. Only Evan scoffs at her assumptions. When Chloe states that she doesn’t want to lose him, he replies that she should have thought about it earlier.

At worst, Chloe later confides in Cecil. Although she doesn’t want to lose her husband, she can’t stop thinking about Mark. Then Cecil advises him to leave the journalist to save his marriage. Chloe might agree, but she can’t.

At the high school, Robin asks Lewis if she can spend the evening at home because she can’t stand the atmosphere at home anymore. Uncomfortable, Louis refuses, suggesting that he should go to the movies with his mother.

In turn, Mark calls Leonor. After reporting that Louis knew about his affair with Chloe, the reporter tells him that the woman pretending to be his girlfriend called Evan to tell him everything. When he tries to find out if she is, Leonor, who takes it badly, replies that she would never do such a thing. However, Mark has his doubts.

At the hospital, Evan receives a call from Chloe, but chooses to ignore it, which doesn’t escape Lauryn, who prompts him to betray her. Although he resents his wife for cheating on him, he cannot see himself living without her. When he thinks about giving her another chance, Lauryn reminds him of all the damage she’s done to her family. At least Evan is still thinking about getting back with her. Disappointment for Lauryn.

At the end of the day, Chloe receives a text from Mark, which she does not respond to.

Meanwhile, Lauryn returns home and complains to her brother about the failure of her plan. However, he is not going to give up and is going to find a way to destroy the Cresson couple.

Jules manipulates Kira

In the morning, Kira receives a message from Jules. Noticing this, Louis thinks Tip Green’s boss is flirting with his girlfriend. Kira then confirms that’s not the case before specifying that she texted him to tell him about her commission. Louis immediately apologizes to her.

At the hospital, Beatrice, Kira, and Thais’ diabetic client informs Dr. Alphand that she wants to stop her insulin injections. Therefore, the doctor explains that it is impossible, because his pancreas does not produce enough hormones. An answer that disappointed Beatrice, especially since she thought she had curable diabetes. Allen confirms that this is the case, but nevertheless specifies that he will have to maintain a strict lifestyle while awaiting a possible switch to oral antidiabetics.

Afterwards, Beatrice joins Kathy, a diner employee. On the advice of a friend, Beatrice finally makes the decision to stop the insulin injections and continue the berberine infusions.

Meanwhile, Jules gives Thais and Kira their commissions. During the discussion, Kira informs her that Beatrice saw her blood sugar drop after receiving the berberine infusions. Because it is more effective than insulin, Kira offers more advertising for this argument. Only Jules orders him not to write anything, because the pharmaceutical labs will fall on them.

In the process, Jules follows Kira to the tram. A chance for him to apologize to her for sealing the atmosphere by talking about her mother the last time they saw each other. Kira then points out that she has a right to be vulnerable and then confirms to him that she also lost her mother when she was little. After telling her that she’s never felt so close to anyone in her life, Jules implies that she has feelings for him. When he is about to kiss her, she changes her mind and then gives him a new Japanese book that she particularly likes.

Later, Jules calls Boris. As the latter tries to figure out where his next target is, Jules replies that he is mature. Indeed, he played a trick on his dead mother and pretended to be her friend. And it must be said that he loves challenges. The more difficult it is, the more excited it is.
