In February, after leaving office, Silveira was cautiously arrested for failing to comply with house arrest rules and carrying out new attacks on the Supreme Court.

According to the decision, Silveira must undergo the usual official medical examinations to begin serving his sentence and have the period of provisional detention deducted from his final sentence.
Judgment
Moraes’ decision came after the Supreme Court overturned a constitutional pardon granted by the former president last month. Jair Bolsonaro to the then federal deputy to prevent the initiation of the sentence.
In April of last year, Daniel Silveira was convicted of the crimes of attempting to prevent the free exercise of powers and coercion during the trial to which he responds for attacks on the Court. A Bolsonaro supporter, Silveira was part of the former president’s base in the Chamber of Deputies.
