“I, asshole!”: Harrison Ford’s surprising response to fans who make him choose between Indiana Jones and Han Solo

Choosing between two of your star characters cannot be an easy decision. Something like choosing between “dad or mom”. An answer that perhaps exists, but that is not a tasteful dish to state out loud. This complex situation is regularly presented to Harrison Fordwhen fans question which of his mythical characters, Han Solo or Indiana Jones, would win if they fought each other.

recently speaking with esquire, the actor was delving into some corners of his life, before releasing the latest tape of one of his mythical film sagas, ‘Indiana Jones 5’. In the middle of the conversation, the subject came up.

“I’m often asked, ‘If there was a fight between Han Solo and Indiana Jones, who would win?’ And I say, ‘Yo, jerk! I don’t want to make that shit up. I mean, why do they ask me such rubbish?’,” commented the interpreter.

Ford doesn’t mince words. Some will think twice before throwing that question at him again.

The actor, who turns 81 this year in 2023, continues with the same momentum as at the beginning of his career. In his new film, premiered at the recent edition of the Cannes Film Festival, we will see the interpreter riding horses and fighting, whip in hand, as in the first films of the saga, released 40 years ago.

In the contest, the actor was awarded a surprise Palme d’Or, honoring his long career and his commitment to his profession.

‘Indiana Jones 5’ will hit theaters around the world on June 28. For the opening sequence of the film, thanks to a refined technique ‘de-aging‘, Ford will “rejuvenate” and we will see him with his physical appearance from the first films. The actor himself was shocked with the result obtained:

“This is the first time I’ve seen this and I believed it,” he told the magazine a few months ago Empire. “It’s a bit sinister. I don’t know if I want to know how it works, but it works.“

Recently, thanks to an exclusive clip published by FOTOGRAMAS, Harrison Ford explained why ‘Indiana Jones 5’ is the movie that fans of the saga deserved: “We will leave them amazed.”

So much so, that Spielberg himself (who attended a special screening of the film a few weeks ago) was shocked and exclaimed: “‘Damn! He thought he was the only one who knew how to make one of these!”

The countdown is already on and Indy’s unforgettable feats will once again fill his fans with excitement. (Almost as much as an imaginary fight between the bounty hunter and Han Solo…).
