Horror: This reveal of the Yellowjackets is followed by Stephen King’s terrifying monster

Adapted from a short story by horror master Stephen King, Rob Savage’s Croque-mitaine hits theaters this week. The story of this horror film tells the story of a schoolgirl (Sophie Thatcher) and her little sister (Vivien Lyra Blair), who recently lost their mother, become the targets of a terrible creature that preys on the suffering of bereaved families.

Born in 2000, Sophie Thatcher has been passionate about singing and theater since the age of 4. After attending a public school in Evanston, Illinois, he studied acting, which allowed him to perform in many plays, such as Oliver!, Seussical, Diary of Anne Frank or secret garden. At the same time, she goes through many castings.

After appearing in two short films, Sophie appeared in the series Chicago Police Department and The Exorcist, where she played a younger version of Regan McNeil. In 2018, the actor landed his first role in the feature film Prospect, Amber of the Green Moon, playing a teenager who travels with his father (Pedro Pascal) through a toxic forest on a distant moon.

We have since seen him in four episodes of the medical series Chicago Med, as well as the comedy-drama The Tomorrow Man, directed by John Lithgow and Blythe Danner. Sophie Thatcher also plays a bigger role in When the Street Lights Go Out, a series in which a double murder in a small town turns the lives of a gang of teenagers upside down.

In 2021, Sophie will appear in The Book of Boba Fett, a spin-off series from The Mandalorian that follows the adventures of Boba Fett and the mercenary Fennec Shand. In the same year, American camper Natalie (now played by Juliet Lewis), one of the teenagers forced to survive in the mountains after the Yellow Jackets crash.

Quiet in Horror Sophie Thatcher has been cast in 2022 as the heroine of Crook-Mitten, a horror film adapted from a Stephen King story. She plays Sadie Harper, a high school student whose mother has just died and who suddenly finds herself, along with her little sister, facing a terrifying creature that attacks families and feeds on their suffering.
