Who is stronger between Indiana Jones and Han Solo? Harrison Ford’s scathing response

What would happen if two of Harrison Ford’s most famous screen characters went head-to-head? Who will win between Han Solo, the legendary smuggler of the Star Wars saga, and the legendary Indiana Jones, who will soon return to action in the fifth installment (due in theaters on June 28)?

During a long interview for Esquire magazine (Discover here in full), the 80-year-old comedian returned to his rich career and was particularly confident that Star Wars fans regularly asked him to decide who, Solo or Jones, would win in a duel.

And as he explains, when it comes to deciding between a blow and a whip, Harrison Ford makes no attempt to hide his exasperation:

“They usually ask me, ‘If there was a fight between Han Solo and Indiana Jones, who would win?’ and I’m like, ‘It’s me, cu****!’ I don’t want to invent such bullshit. Honestly, why are you asking me that?”

An answer that has the merit of being honest and that should thwart any future question that aims to imagine a comparison between the two characters created by George Lucas.

Although Han Solo recently bowed out in the Star Wars post-logy, Indiana Jones will return to theaters in a few weeks for one final adventure. In this fifth feature film, presented out of competition at the recent Cannes Film Festival, an archaeologist sets off on the trail of Archimedes’ dial, a device that can detect cracks in time.
