according to Boron kitThe journalist of The Hollywood Reporter, James Gunn, narrowed down the list of contenders for the role to 3 names: David Korensvet, Nicholas Hoult and Tom Britney.

Three actresses would also be shortlisted by James Gunn to portray Lois Lane, Clark Kent’s iconic accomplice at The Daily Planet newspaper. Emma Mackey, Phoebe Dinevoor and Rachel Brosnahan will be playing the role of the journalist.

James Gunn and his team are currently conducting “screen tests” with these six artists with makeup and their costumes. It is not yet known when the director will make a decision, but the deadline is very close.

Superman Legacy will focus on Superman’s quest to find a balance between his Kryptonian heritage and Clark Kent’s human upbringing. Currently in pre-production, the film will begin shooting in January 2024 for a scheduled release on July 9, 2025.
The first phase of the DC Universe, titled “Chapter One: Gods and Monsters”, will be explored in several movies and series.
