Glamor tells the story of Marco Mejia, a young queer transsexual whose life takes a turn for the worse until he gets a job working with makeup icon Madolyn Addison. Kim Cattrall as the glamor queen
Originally conceived for the US channel The CW, with Eva Longoria behind the camera and Brooke Shields in front of the camera, Glamorous is a series that was eventually developed for Netflix. Created by Jordan Nardino, screenwriter of Desperate Housewives and Quantico, this LGBTQIA+ drama is full of twists, humor, romance and glitter!
Kim Cattrall, the unforgettable Samantha from Sex & the City, plays Madoline Addison, a former model at the helm of a luxury cosmetics brand. The Devil Wears Prada actress took on the role of a bad-ass entrepreneur and businesswoman of the caliber of Miranda Priestly (Meryl Streep), less intense and more extravagant.
He recruits Marco Mejia (Ben J. Pierce), a young non-binary makeup expert addicted to social media who shares his passion with his followers on a daily basis. Marco then becomes Kim’s second assistant and works with the first assistant Venetia (Jade Peyton), much nicer than Emily (Emily Blunt) in the David Frankel film.
In addition to Venetia, Marco will be able to rely on other queer colleagues like Ben (Michael Hsu Rosen) and Britt (Ayesha Harris) to help him integrate, thrive, and hopefully do his job right. His young spirit and modern ideas can be a great help in Madolin’s company, which is in crisis and under control.
The only downside: Chad (Zane Phillips), Madoline’s son, who sees Marco as a rival, at least at first. But Marco not only has his professional life to manage, he also has a busy love life, starting with a complicated relationship with a certain Parker (Graham Parkerst).

A quirky, modern and colorful coming-of-age story, Glamorous highlights Ben J. Talent Pierce, also known as Miss Benny, is an American singer, actress and YouTuber who is also queer and non-binary, using three pronouns.
In particular, in the series Love, Victor and American Horror Story, Ben J. Pearce is a charming hero who has been taken under Kim Cattrall’s wing, brighter than ever. If you like Desperate Housewives, The Devil Wears Prada, Bold Type or Ugly Betty, then Glamor is for you!
The glamorous series is available on Netflix.
