It’s a bit of a stretch during the production of the comedy The Other Two. The series, which aired its first season on Comedy Central in France, is ending after three seasons amid reports of a toxic workplace.
We learn through The Hollywood Reporter That comedy is wrapping up with Season 3, the final episode of which airs today on Max.
The Other Two was created by Saturday Night Live alumni Chris Kelly and Sarah Schneider. They released a statement to the press to clarify that the decision to end season 3 was not due to the cancellation of the show.
However, The Hollywood Reporter cites several sources as saying that “Many staff complaintsAbout Chris Kelly and Sarah Schneider during production.
According to the American magazine, the complaints of the staff stemmed from the behavior on the set and in the writing room of the screenwriters. Also included are allegations that Chris Kelly “He verbally abused the writers and the overloaded group“, and”Allowed by Sarah Schneider“.
After an official investigation, Chris Kelly and Sarah Schneider were fired. Nevertheless, the atmosphere behind the scenes of the production seems to have quite a reputation. Former Saturday Night Live writer Tina Fey dropped a bombshell about her tenure last March acceptance speech at the PEN America Literary Awards.
He said that Lorne Michaels, the creator of Saturday Night Live, “failed An army of monsters in the wild“Courtesy of the authors. A spade that apparently belonged to Chris Kelly and Sarah Schneider:
“You know it, I know it, and the “Other Two” crew knows itTina Fey scoffed.Oh, I had to change that. I had to change that. is irrelevant. But hey, it’s not live streaming“.

Kelly and Schneider released a joint statement announcing the end of The Other Two after three seasons:
“It’s bittersweet to say goodbye to the Dubec family after three seasons, but we always knew, both creatively and personally, that this was where we wanted their stories to end.“, said the duo.And since we’ve literally run out of ways to humiliate Drew Tarver, what’s the point?“
“We are deeply grateful to everyone (gay people) who watched the show, to Max who gave us a second home and a second life, and to our writers, producers and crew who gave so much of their time, talent and passion. This series has been going on for over 45 years.”
“And finally, a big thank you to Helen, Drew, Molly, Casey, Wanda, Josh, Brandon, and all the other members of our awesome team (except Ken) who made this series better than it was. It could have been, and who I will miss terribly (especially Ken). Long live ChaseDreams. #chasingdreams #globereggae #feet“.
In The Other Two, Helen Yorke and Drew Tarver play “The Other” siblings Brooke and Carrie, whose dreams of stardom fade after their younger brother ChaseDreams (Kays Walker) becomes a Justin Bieber-like pop star.
Molly Shannon plays Pat Dubeck, their mother-turned-Oprah Winfrey equivalent, while Ken Marino and Wanda Sykes make up the family’s media team. As for Josh Segara (Arrow, She-Hulk), he plays Brooke’s friend Lance throughout the series, while Brandon Scott Jones is Curtis, Drew’s nemesis.
