PicPay brings in ex-Agibank as individual business manager

Fabiano Schneider is in a new house. The executive is the new director of business and relations for PicPay’s individual retail area. The professional has built a solid career of over 20 years in the financial products sector, dedicating the last five to services for individuals.




He has taken on various roles in the Agibank, connected to the sales and customer service area. Previously, he was director of operations at Vikstar Contact Center, a telecommunications solutions provider, focused on call center operations and operations in multi-channel services. Throughout his career, he has gained extensive experience in selling products at all stages of the relationship chain.

To the PicPay, Fabiano will be responsible for working with commercial strategies in order to expand the segment. He will lead a team of approximately 150 people, including 80 relationship managers.

“OR PicPay it has reached a vast scale and has increasingly expanded its ecosystem. My role, together with the team, will be to broaden the relationship with each customer, making them use our products and services more with segmented offers that facilitate their daily financial life,” the executive said in a statement.

Expansion of services

According to the company, the hiring strengthens its focus on customer acquisition and strengthening cross-selling of products, which should gain even more solidity with the incorporation of Banco Original’s individual customers. Fabiano will report directly to Danilo Caffaro, Vice President of Financial Services for Individuals at PicPay.

OR PicPay has expanded its range of services to evolve its super app and diversify its sources of income. The strategy seems to be working, considering that in the fourth quarter of 2022 the fintech recorded a net profit of 20.4 million reais, a significant turnaround compared to the loss of 516 million reais in the same period of 2021.
