A cold front advances along the coast of the southeast region and reaches Espírito Santo leaving many clouds and rain over part of eastern Minas Gerais and Rio de Janeiro. The strong cold air mass of polar origin associated with this cold front causes moderate to strong sea winds that carry much moisture to the near-shore areas of the southern and southeastern regions. Zones of instability are most persistent along the coast of São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, where moderate to heavy rainfall may occur throughout the day.
Intense cold air crosses Rio Grande do Sul and still causes low temperatures in the state, Uruguay, eastern and northern Argentina.
Dry air prevails over interior Brazil, leaving most of the country with few clouds and no conditions for rain.
Some thunderclouds grow in parts of northern Brazil and along the northeastern coast.

South Region
Cold air of polar origin acts strongly in Rio Grande do Sul. Even with the presence of the sun, the whole state has a cold day. There are freezing conditions at dawn in the interior of Rio Grande do Sul. In the Porto Alegre region and on the central and northern coast of Rio Grande do Sul, the sun appears among many clouds.
It rains lightly on the north coast of Rio Grande do Sul, on the south coast of Santa Catarina and in Grande Florianópolis. The Santa Catarina mountains have sun and frost at dawn. In the southern plateau, in the central-west and west of Santa Catarina, the day is sunny with some clouds.
The weather turns rainy and cold in the Itajaí Valley and eastern Paraná, including Greater Curitiba. In the other areas of the interior of Paraná the sun appears, but always with many clouds and the temperature is also mild throughout the day.
Southeast region
A cold front advances from Rio de Janeiro toward Espírito Santo and rain clouds spread east of the southeast.

Areas of instability associated with this cold front cause all-day rainfall in central and southern Rio de Janeiro state, including Grande Rio and the mountainous region, and eastern São Paulo state, including the capital and the coast of Sao Paulo. There is a risk of heavy rain on the coast of São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro.
In other areas of the South-East the sun appears all day, always with some clouds, but it doesn’t rain.
Midwest region
High clouds are seen in all Midwestern states and the Federal District, but this type of cloud does not cause rain. The sun shines all day long and low humidity levels, between 21% and 30%, should be observed practically throughout the Region.
The temperature becomes high in the afternoon.
Northeast Region
Sunny and dry weather predominates in most areas of the northeastern region. Precipitation is concentrated in areas close to the coast.
Rain showers and sunny periods can occur throughout the coast and east of Bahia, in the sertão of Sergipe and Alagoas, in the north and on the coast of Ceará and Piauí.
In the center and east of Sergipe and Alagoas, in the Agreste, Zona da Mata and on the coast of Pernambuco, Paraíba and Rio Grande do Norte, the rain is frequent and the day continues with many clouds, with little sun.
The north, the coast and the central west of Maranhão have sunshine and rain showers with lightning.
Northern region
Day with a lot of sun, heat and no rain in Tocantins, in the south and central-east of Pará, in the south of the Amazon, in Rondônia and in most of the regions of Acre.
In the extreme west of Acre and in other areas of the Northern Region there are showers with lightning, especially in the afternoon and at night, but the sun appears throughout the day. In Roraima, in the northwest of the Amazon and on the coast of Pará, showers are more frequent.
