The month of August will definitely be placed under the sign of One Piece!
While the live-action adaptation will be released by Netflix on August 31st, the animated series has not missed out by airing a special episode that anime fans have been especially waiting for, marking the Gear 5’s official debut.
Readers of the manga (104 volumes, available from Glénat) have already been able to discover this new transformation of Luffy, which was also teased in One Piece Red. The anime devotee is preparing, in turn, to discover an episode that will completely change the situation, with a wave of action in the show, but also with essential revelations about the protagonist of the series.
Although the manga began with the final arc of the manga, the anime series is still taking place during the Vais arc, which ends with the summit clash between Luffy and the Sea Emperor, Kaido. To triumph over this powerful enemy, the hero will have to use his reserves and show unprecedented power!

With a total of over 1,000 episodes (and a dozen feature films considered by some to be “canon”), the One Piece animated series has been in production since 1999. Simultaneous broadcasts are offered in France on specialized platforms ADN and Crunchyroll.
