Teachers and students from the São Paulo state educational network last week took to social media to complain that the “Minha Escola SP” application was installed on their private mobile phones without them being authorized to download it.

In a note to Earththe Secretary of Education of the State of São Paulo says that it has initiated an administrative procedure to investigate all the circumstances related to the involuntary installation of the Minha Escola application.
“The failure occurred during a test carried out by Pasta’s technical area on specific Seduc devices. As soon as the error that led to the installation of the app on devices connected to institutional Google accounts was identified, the reversal was triggered with sending application cancellation requests,” the folder reports.
The Department of Education also points out that the user can also delete the app themselves if they prefer. “Seduc regrets what happened and reiterates that the appropriate measures are being taken”, he adds.
