Various information about the series “The Last of Us”, the HBO adaptation of the hit game, was revealed during the Summer Game Fest, including an unseen image with Pedro Pascal.
“They’re shooting and it’s so amazing. Things are coming back, when we look back at Naughty Dog, we can’t help but feel emotional. Because not only is it so good, but the quality is so high too. It’s so authentic to what we’ve done in the game, “Naughty Dog’s Neil Druckmann said during the Summer Game Fest broadcast.
He went on to reveal that the last day of filming for the HBO series is tomorrow (June 10). “It’s very close, closer than you think,” she anticipated.
Druckmann directed one of the episodes of the series which is now in the final stages of production. He also presented an unprecedented image of the episode he directed, in which we see Joel (Pedro Pascal) and Ellie (Bella Ramsey) in a museum, something fans of the game will remember.
“I really have to talk about Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey. And not just directing them, but seeing them in every other episode, they’ve been playing these roles for a whole year. Looking at the nuances they bring to these characters, their relationship on and off the camera. I couldn’t help but think of Troy Baker and Ashley Johnson, ”praised Druckmann.
The news did not stop there, and the same Baker and Johnson, who played Joel and Ellie in the games, will be in the series “The Last of Us”, in roles yet to be revealed.
