Kenan Thompson and Kel Mitchell, the famous comedy duo, return to embark on new adventures with the first teaser of the film Burger War 2.
Director Phil Traill’s sequel to the 1997 Paramount Pictures comedy, The War of the Burgerswill begin streaming on Paramount+ later this year. The film focuses on Dexter (Thompson) and Ed (Mitchell) who are reunited at their old workplace 26 years after the original film, along with a new group of employees.
In the teaser, Mitchell is driving when he hits Thompson with his vehicle. Thompson exclaims, “Hey, man, you almost turned me into a car burger.” This prompts Mitchell to enthusiastically reply: “Ed and Dex’s new adventures begin now!”
The footage continues to show the couple reciting the famous line, “Welcome to the good burgermarried good burgerMay I take your order?”
The War of the Burgers will debut later this year on Paramount+, but the premiere date has yet to be confirmed.
