Here’s our quiz of the day: the return of the little genius Malcolm, his clueless siblings Dewey, Reese and Francis, and his equally crazy parents Hal and Lois. Before we dive into these nine new questions about the various events that took place during Season 4, let’s go back a little bit to the previous quiz with two questions from Season 3.
The first question returned to the main plot of the ninth episode called “The Goldfish”, in which Hal and Lois decided to test Dewey by asking him to take care of a goldfish named Charlie. But what would the younger brother get if he completed his mission?
This was exactly the question posed by the following three sentences: a game console, a day at the amusement park, and a dog. And it was indeed the dog that Dewey had been promised in case of success. And in front of the clearly Olympic shape of the little fish, the parents, without any scruple, decided to do everything in order not to fulfill the promise.
Another question was about the ending sequence of the two-part episode “The Fatal Picnic”. When Malcolm (who got his own quiz) goes on a treasure hunt with Lori, the girl he’s in love with, he keeps complaining, not understanding why he doesn’t feel the same way in return. Her attraction to a certain Gary.
While crying, Malcolm gets the bad idea to pick dead leaves to dry his tears, leaves that turn out to be poisonous, and then cause an impressive allergic reaction to a young man who really didn’t need it.
