Gessica Kayane graduated on Thursday (8/31) from a short-term exchange program in the United States. The artist was moved during the graduation ceremony, in a language school located in Los Angeles.
On Instagram, the influencer shared the moment he gave his speech in English. “I was very ashamed and very emotional. For me it was something I never expected to experience. Special in an inexplicable way,” wrote Gkay, who tossed his cap in the air with the group.
“This was the best experience of my life. It was my dream to study English. Thanks to all, for the lesson, thanks to my teacher Ryan, you are very special to me. Thanks to all the people who welcomed me to this place , you are wonderful. I feel sad [pela despedida], but very grateful for the program. You are part of my story. Thank you,” she added, making the professor dance the funk.
The comedian also said that learning the language was a real dream of “that girl from Solânea”, in Paraíba. He reinforced his gratitude for the support he received during the intensive English course. “Painho,” I hope you see it,” he wrote emotionally.

In an interview with Glamor she said she had bad experiences for not being able to communicate in English. “I’ve already mixed up the words, I tried to say one thing and said another. I already made a dinner reservation and thought the person was cancelling, but actually I was late and the person was asking me to go to Finally I decided not to go, but it worked out in the end,” he recalled.
Gkay was accompanied by her boyfriend, Marcos Túlio Rodrigues, during the brief exchange in the United States. The comedian began the relationship in May this year after being seen with the businessman at a few events.
