Spaniard Carlos Sainz maintained the same pace from Friday’s free practice and was fastest this Saturday, during the third session of the Formula 1 Italian GP. The Ferrari driver set his best lap in 1’20 ‘912.
Sainz had already been the leader in the second free practice and again overtook two-time champion Max Verstappen at the Circuit de Monza. The Dutchman even took the lead, running in 1’20’998, but retired his car to the pits after being overtaken in the last 10 minutes.
