Scream 6 is now available on Paramount+. The film entered the platform’s exhibition catalog in early September, at no additional cost to subscribers. Previously, the production was only available for purchase and rental on different streaming platforms.
In the sixth film of the saga created by Wes Craven, Sam (Melissa Barrera), together with his sister Tara (Jenna Ortega) and the twins Mindy (Jasmin Savoy Brown) and Chad (Mason Gooding), move to New York after the latest massacre in Woodsboro. The information comes from collider.
As she tries to overcome the trauma of the massacre, she also faces accusations that she was responsible for orchestrating the attacks only to blame her ex-boyfriend, Richie Kirsch (Jack Quaid), and Tara’s ex-best friend, Amber Freeman ( Mikey Madison), the previous killers.
In the midst of all this, a new and even more violent killer enters the lives of the survivors with a very clear goal: to finish what Richie and Amber failed to do and kill Sam and Tara, no matter how many bodies they leave behind.
In addition to the original protagonists of Scream 5The cast of the new film also includes Josh Segarra (“She-Hulk: Defender of Heroes”), Tony Revolori (“Spider-Man: No Going Home”), Liana Liberato (“If I Stay”), Devyn Nekoda (“Ginny & Georgia”), Jack Champion (“Avatar: The Way to Water”), Samara Weaving (“Bloody Wedding”) and Dermot Mulroney (“My Best Friend’s Wedding”).
The new chapter in the franchise is still the first to not feature Sidney Prescott, the original “Scream” survivor. However, Courteney Cox returns as Gale Weathers, representing historical figures, and Hayden Panettiere, who lived Kirby Reed in “Scream 4”, is also back, now as an FBI agent.
