Goosebumps: the new Disney+ series mixes comedy and horror; see the teaser

Disney+ has released the teaser for the new series based on Goosebumbs, the books by RL Stine. The preview of the new adaptation shows the protagonists having several scares. Watch:

All about Goosebumps

The series will follow a group of five high school students who unleash supernatural forces on their town and must work together to save it. Young people will have to face monsters, ghosts and other frightening creatures, while also trying to solve a mystery involving their parents.

Goosebumps will be directed by Rob Letterman and Nicholas Stoller, who will also produce the series. Letterman is known for directing the animated films How to Train Your Dragon and the live-action film Goosebumps released in 2015, where Rob Letterman also worked.

The cast includes Justin Long, Rachael Harris, Ana Yi Puig, Miles McKenna, Will Price, Zack Morris and Isa Briones.

The series will have 10 episodes and the first 5 should be released on October 13th simultaneously on Disney+.
