Films and television programs about crimes and their solving have always been acclaimed by audiences for arousing viewers’ curiosity. An example of this is the CSI series, which achieved great success with the public since its launch in the 2000s and also gave rise to other spin-offs that explored forensic investigations in various American cities. Is there a chronological order to watch the CSI franchise?

The chronological order of films and series is based on the importance of past information, which will later be retrieved in the future and therefore it is important to consume it in advance. In other words, it’s as if some events happened in one series, for example, and continued in another.

In the case of the CSI series franchise, this does not happen. This is because, although each series features similar investigative techniques and the same goal (solving a crime scene), the stories are different, take place in different cities and deal with different cases.
