Three defendants were tried and convicted for the murder of a 22-year-old young man in Imbé, in a case involving a stamped foot during a party
This Thursday the 14th, around 10 pm, in the Forum of Tramandaí, on the North Coast, the trial against three defendants accused of qualified homicide, for trivial and somewhat cruel reasons, ended. The three were sentenced to 21 years in prison each for the murder of 22-year-old Guilherme Tadeu Gonçalves da Silva. The crime took place in front of a nightclub on Avenida São Borja, in the early hours of May 1, 2022, in the city of Imbé.
The investigations revealed that the motive for the crime was a simple step that took place during a party. This incident sparked an argument and later, outside the nightclub, the victim was brutally attacked to death.
Guilherme, who was a Grêmio fan and had a girlfriend, lived with his father in Capão da Canoa and worked as a blacksmith in construction. It is important to underline that he had no criminal record.
The popular jury was presided over by judge Gilberto Pinto Fontoura, while public prosecutor André Luiz Tarouco Pinto represented the Public Prosecutor during the trial. The conviction highlights the seriousness of the crime and the application of the law to hold those responsible for the murder of the young Guilherme Tadeu Gonçalves da Silva.
