Everything starts here on Monday, September 18…
Teissier retains his seat at the Institute
Teissier enters the kitchen to yell at Anais and scold her for talking to Chef Armand about her secret. Anais may proclaim her innocence, but he doesn’t listen to her. On the contrary, he attacks her so much that Salome is forced to intervene and protect her best friend. Teissier realizes that Salome also knows his secret. He returns and leaves the stage. Anais is shocked.
In front of a group of teachers, Teissier completely rejects Clotilde’s words, claiming to be ill. He wants Leroy to replace him. But he doesn’t think it’s a good idea. Clotilda then turns to Olivia to tell everyone what she revealed to her the day before. However, Olivia claims to know nothing. Antoine concludes that it was a misunderstanding.
Clotilda meets Olivia in the hallway to find out why she continues to protect Tayce. Olivia states that she does not want to get involved in their power struggle, and Clotilde confirms that she is worried about the institution and that she does not personally hold a grudge against Teyssier.
Clotilde then tries to convince Marc and Antoine to test Teissier on his abilities. The vice-principal refuses, pointing out that this is not the first time Clotilde has tried to expel Teissier from the institute. As for Mark, he still refuses to take his friend’s place at the head of the school.
Teissier, on the other hand, goes to the hospital to confide in his wife. Concerned about his health, she suggests he take the opportunity to get away from the Institute and rest until his senses return. But Teissier fears that Clotilde will give him the opportunity to banish her.
Later, Teissier reveals to Leroy that he is willing to take Landiras’s lessons in his place. He promises that he’s not sick, just tired. However, Leroy emphasizes that Clotilda does not want to let the matter go so easily. In any case, he repeats that he is not interested in his directorship.
In the kitchen, Tessier notices that he still hasn’t regained his sense of taste and smell. After apologizing to Anais, who accepts them, she asks for help preparing for classes the next day. But the young woman thinks she’s had enough of this story and ends their collaboration…
Berenice discovers Carla’s secret
Carla asks Berenica to make a request: to change her in the vegetable garden for an hour, because she has to be gone. Berenia agrees, even if Carla refuses to tell her what to do.
At the orchard, Berenia feels humiliated when she is unable to supply Mehdi, Enzo and Lionel with marjoram. The latter try to find them on their own.
After returning to the institute late, Carla apologizes to Berenice. She asks him in return for her services: to taste her dish on the theme of fruit and cheese pairing. But Carla categorically refuses and declares that she cannot eat it.
In the dressing room, Berenice questions Carla as she suspects that she is pregnant. Carla admits that she’s right and that she’s going to stick with it. As for the father, he is not part of the picture. Carla then forces Berenica to listen to a recording of her baby’s heartbeat.
Jimmy and Jasmine bump into each other
In the second year, Hortense instructs the students to make a dish out of four ingredients. Thibault presents Mustard Chicken. When she tastes it, Hortense discovers that it is a little classic. Thibault thought it was a technical exercise rather than a creative one. Hortense gives him the opportunity to make another proposal the next day. Vicki then encourages Thibaut, who also has difficulties with creativity in the kitchen, not to give up.
In the studio, Jasmine helps Thibaut prepare a meal. Together they come up with a way to twist the mustard in the dish and immediately think of wasabi butter.
Jasmin confides in Deva in the dressing room. She admits that she is very disturbed by her trust in Thibaut when he gives her advice in the kitchen. He admits that he fell in love.
However, back at the studio, Jasmine noticed that Thibault ended up choosing cider chicken because Jim thought his wasabi chicken was inedible. Jasmine stands by her idea, as does Jimmy. A torn Thibault then expresses his need to think alone about what he is going to do.
