In Love, Fame and Beauty (Monday to Friday TF1 from 10:30), Jacqueline McInnes Woody has been playing Steffy Forrester since 2008. With AlloCiné, the star of the iconic American series looks back on his journey and makes some discoveries about what will come next in the series…
AlloCiné: In ‘Love, Glory and Beauty,’ what Steffy feels about the recent announcement of Sheila’s death (Kimberlynn Brown)
Jacqueline McInnes Wood : It is a shocking news. Even though Steffy doesn’t want to see anyone die, she’s never been Sheila’s biggest fan! Discovering that he died like this surprises him, but he stays awake and questions himself, knowing that he is like a cat: he has nine lives! That said, the discovery of his toes and other evidence makes him believe for a moment that he is indeed dead…
Is Steffy convinced that Sheila will never change?
I don’t think Sheila will change. If everything that happened was just a matter of circumstance and Sheila hadn’t done all the horrible things she did, Steffy might have had a chance… but with all of Sheila’s actions, there’s no going back. Steffy wants Sheila out of her life, and she’s willing to do anything to make that happen.
As Kimberlynn Brown told AlloCinéYou also think Steph is a worthy successor to Stephanie (Susan Flannery) compared to Sheila?
I agree ! I love Kimberlynn, she is an incredible friend and actress. Steph and Sheila are both strong and have a lot in common. Stef is Sheila’s nightmare and worst enemy and vice versa. I am honored that Steph is following in her grandmother’s footsteps. Stephanie Forrester is a force of nature and her grandson is just like her, fighting!
Why is Steffy so eager to have her parents back during Ridge (Torsten Kaybehaved badly to Taylor (Christa Allen) always?
When he sees his parents together, he sees their happiness and peace. There’s always a problem with Brooke! There’s always something going on… He wants to reconsider the commitment that exists between Ridge and Taylor. They have obvious chemistry and they haven’t gone all the way…
Why does Steffy hate Brooke (Kathryn Kelly Lang) so much?
They had a good time, but Stef reads Brooke like an open book. However, if you don’t trust my character and don’t feel safe with you… you might not like it! (Laughs) Granted, Brooke helped raise Steffy, so maybe she wants to believe they can work past their differences… but there’s still something about Steffy’s Brooke.
what do you think finn (Tanner Nowlan) is a man in Stef’s life instead of Liam (Scott Clifton)
I think so. Steph is used to drama and toxic relationships. We often left him too. With Finn, for the first time, he was with someone who made life easy. It calms him down and makes him feel safe. She still loves Liam, but she’s more comfortable with Finn. It will bring out the best in him.
Do you think things are over between Steffy and Liam?
(Laughs) I always say that things will never end between them. They still have a child together! However, Liam has a ways to go and so does Steffy. He was to become the one he had always been waiting for…
You started Love, Fame and Beauty 15 years ago. Do you remember your first day?
I remember it like yesterday! I grew up watching The Bold and the Beautiful to get a good idea of people’s faces. I was excited to hear that my character would be around Taylor and Ridge a lot. It brought me back to my memories. I still remember my first line! I was scared, but my partners made me feel at ease. They took me under their wing because I didn’t know how shooting on set worked. There was so much work, always!
Do you plan to stay in “love, glory and beauty” for a long time?
absolutely. The show has always been great for me, the audience watched me grow for 15 years. I learned so much! This is truly one of the best fictions to work on. We’re lucky to shoot in LA because I can be close to my family… so that’s great, especially with everything that’s going to happen in the stories! My heart is filled with joy!
