Cinema Week reduces tickets to R for all films

Cinema Week reduces tickets to R$12 for all films

Haven’t been to the cinema in a while? This week, all films will cost R $ 12. All films screened in 2D on the country’s major networks, including premieres such as the sci-fi “Resistência” and the horror “Saw X”.

Want more incentive to see a movie on the big screen? In addition to fixed-price tickets, popcorn and soda combos will also have reduced prices.

The promotion marks the start of the third edition of Cinema Week, which will take place from next Thursday (28/9) to next Wednesday (5/10). The initiative, which follows the model of similar events in the United States and Spain, aims to encourage the return of audiences to cinemas across the country.

The continuity of the action is a response to the success of the previous edition of the Cinema Week, which last year recorded an 180% increase in audience attendance, according to Comscore data.

Where is it worth it?

Organized by the National Federation of Cinema Exhibition Companies (FENEEC), the initiative initially concerns only 2D films in conventional cinemas. However, some chains may extend discounts to 3D screenings and other room categories.

The offer is valid at all companies associated with the Brazilian Association of Multiplex Cinema Exhibitors (ABRAPLEX), including Cinemark, Cinépolis, UCI, Cinesystem, GNC, Moviecom, Arteplex, Cineart, Itaú Cinemas and Petra Belas Artes.

In addition to the premieres of “Saw”, “Night of the Witches”, “Oppenheimer” and national films such as ” Nosso Sonho “, which portrays the trajectory of the duo Claudinho and Buchecha, and the newcomer ” Pérola ” – about a mother who, originally , it was a play.
