Un Si Grand Soleil Preview: Episode Summary for Monday, October 2, 2023 [SPOILERS]

Warning, the following paragraphs contain spoilers for the episode of Un Si Grand Soleil that airs Monday night on France 2! If you don’t want to understand anything, don’t read the following!

On Monday, October 2, 2023, in such great sunshine…

Julie is brought before the judge

At the police station, Julie confesses to Lt. Cross that she has been having an affair with a hotel guest for several weeks. While he asks the policeman not to tell Alex, Ian insists on knowing the identity of his girlfriend. The young woman then reveals that she is Sylvain Durand and then swears that they never stole the watches.

In turn, Alex is eagerly waiting for his partner in the corridors, but Commissioner Becker orders him to go home.

The next day, Ian and Commissioner Becker evaluate the investigation. Even though everything points to Julie telling the truth, Becker still thinks she might have made it up to Sylvain. That’s why he asks Lieutenant Cross to find the latter as quickly as possible.

At Commissioner Becker’s request, Manu calls Alex and tells him to take the day off. An angry friend swears that Julie is not a thief. To be helpful, Manu advises her to find Julie a good lawyer.

Not far from there, Ian and Akim are looking for Sylvain. Unfortunately, he disabled his SIM card and does not know anyone in the captain agencies in the region. The police then wonder if the young man is really doing the deed, or if Julie wasn’t trying to cover it up in the first place.

Meanwhile, Alex meets Johanna and asks for her services to protect Julie. Even if Ian leads the investigation, the lawyer takes the case.

In turn, Ian tells Manu that Julie is probably an accomplice to a serious theft and that she has been lying to Alex for weeks. A shock to Captain Leon, who tries to find out more. Unfortunately, Ian cannot specify anything else, as the investigation is stalled.

Later, Ian questions Julie again in the presence of her lawyer. When he asks about the consumer loan she recently took out, Julie replies that it was to help a friend who was in trouble. Only Ian struggles to believe him. When he tells her that they haven’t been able to trace Sylvain, Julie looks surprised. This guy is particularly shady, Johanna prompts her companion to focus her investigation on him rather than her client. Ian then replies that it already is. However, the police also have enough evidence against Julie and so she will appear before a judge. A heavy blow to the young woman who cried.

CARINE has become the heroine of L. COSMETICS

In the morning, Mark informs his son that he will pick him up after school today. Much to Louis’ annoyance, the journalist makes him realize that Leonor will be a little less available from now on. When the teenager wants to know if his mother has dated anyone, Mark says he doesn’t know. However, Louis keeps asking questions and his father finally tells him that it’s none of his business. An answer that greatly amuses Louis, who realizes that his father is jealous.

At L. Cosmétiques, Karine managed to repair the fork. A relief to Elizabeth, who congratulates him, then declares that she was right to hire him. Enrique, who agrees with his boss, adds that he is a good recruit.

Quickly, Karin becomes the company’s new hero, and especially in the eyes of Berthier, who wants to know why she never considered a career in electronics. Karine then confides in him that she had a very young daughter and had no choice but to take the first job she was offered. In turn, Berthier tells him that he never had children because his wife did not want them. If she believes that it is too late to start a family, Karine explains that she does not consider it old at all.

Back home, Berthier tells his wife about Carine’s skill. Although Marion is sure that her mother watched the lesson on the Internet, Berthier believes that on the contrary, her colleague is full of talent and skills. Words that don’t sit well with Marion, who struggles to mask her jealousy.

Meanwhile, Leonor and Enrique are enjoying their relationship.
