On Monday, October 9, everything starts here…
Malik’s heart is torn between Amber and Kelly
At the commissary, Amber wants to talk to Malik because he left pretty quickly after last Friday’s revelation. The young man needed time to digest things. Ambre admits that she should have told him earlier that he was Ophel, but explains that she was afraid of being vulnerable and that what she saw in real life didn’t match the image she had on the app. Malik, on the other hand, feels very hurt that he was not honest with her from the beginning.
Malik meets Kelly in the locker room. He tells her that he found out the truth about Amber. Kelly admits she knew it too. Malik needed to go all the way because he still thought Kelly was Ophelia. But even knowing the truth, Malik says he wants to be with her, not Amber.
At the workshop, while Malik disappears to the commissary, Kelly confronts Amber about her surprise revelation. She wanted to warn her friend in advance of her intentions, because now she doubts her feelings for Malik and hopes that he will choose her. Amber argues otherwise. Lionel overhears their conversation.
Landiras comes to the workshop. This is the last stretch for the southern region before the elections. Seeing Amber and Malik accidentally touch each other’s hands, Kelly walks away to collect herself. Lionel takes the opportunity to see her, but says he needs space. Returning to his post, Lionel can’t help but provoke Malik and Amber by hinting at the nature of their relationship. While Livio defends Lionel, Kelly asks him to shut up. The tension between the two brigades escalates to the point where Landiras is forced to intervene. Everyone drags them out to solve problems in other ways.
In the park, Landiras orders them to shuffle to avoid the ball. Ambre, Malik and Livio face Kelly, Suleiman and Lionel. The students play the game under the watchful eye of Landiras and the suspicious gaze of Miriel. Finally, the game degenerates when Lionel shoots Kelly, who responds by throwing the ball in his face. His gesture causes a general quarrel. Landiras divides everyone.
Back at the workshop, Lionel and Kelly continue to argue. Landiras then reminds them of the stakes of the French cooking competition and the honor of the institution they are supposed to represent. Considering their behavior, Landiras decides to disqualify them all. Amber is the first to admit her mistakes. Then Lionel and Kelly do the same. So Landiras agrees to give them one last chance.
Malik later finds Ambre at home. He thanks her for being honest with Landira. Amber then explains to him that he came at the wrong time in her life. After the train accident, she felt empty, psychologically and physically. If he didn’t tell her who he was, it was because he was afraid he would disappoint her. Malik replies that he doesn’t see her as he sees her at all. He is about to kiss her, but Ambre stops him just in time. Malik admits that it’s better that way, then leaves…
Penelope makes big decisions
Penelope is struggling to recover from her holiday weekend with Billy. On the other hand, she is grateful to him because it allowed her to take her mind off the Baptist. When Tom arrives to take them to Guinot’s class, Penelope panics because they are late.
Once in class, Penelope realizes that she completely forgot to do the exercise requested by her boss. The latter notices this. At the end of the class, he takes Penelope to the side to understand. Penelope explains that she had personal issues to attend to and completely forgot about exercise. Claire agrees to close her eyes this time on the condition that Penelope completes the exercise the next day without fail.
Then Penelope finds Billy and Tommy dead in the park. He asks Billy to get back on track and stop going out on weekends, going to bed early during the week, and inviting Tom to his room during the week. Billy agrees to all of her terms, much to his friend’s dismay.
It’s a war between Carla and Rose
In the park, Rose approaches Joachim to ask him to turn down the music in the morning. She hardly realizes that several students around her hear their conversation: Jimmy, Berenice and Karla. The latter also openly mocks the director of the master, he has a grudge after being punished for the video.
Later, Clotilda receives a message from Rose, who complains to Joachim. The latter is surprised, because everything was already explained in the morning. Clotilde finds her sister angrily criticizing her companion while they offer room and board.
At the Institute, Clotilde confronts Rose about this. Faced with his denial, she shows him the message she received from him. Rose then suspects that Carla stole her cell phone while she was on the toilet and sent this message to Clotilda out of pure revenge. Clotilda then advises her sister to explain things calmly rather than jumping to conclusions. But Rose is certain of this: Carla is responsible.
He meets her outside to accuse her directly. When Carla claims she had nothing to do with it, Rose promises to prove otherwise and seize the opportunity to expel her from the facility. Carla then confides in Suleiman, who followed the whole scene, explaining that this time she is indeed innocent. At his request, the young man agrees to appeal to Rose on his behalf.
