In February 2022, the production of the Netflix series was indeed the victim of a robbery. About twenty hooded men rushed onto the set and attacked the technicians by shooting fireworks to steal the equipment. Cameras, tripods, optics and all other filming equipment were stolen for a total of around €300,000 in loot.
Tasked with the forensic police service of the Hauts-de-Seine department, the investigation of the incident proceeded very quickly, as only a few weeks after the event, investigators had already identified and arrested the perpetrators.

This isn’t the first time a Netflix product has been hacked. The filming of The Crown Season 5 was also the victim of a large-scale theft in February 2022. In total, 350 valuables were stolen by several unknown thugs, causing a loss of more than €200,000.

It has actually been viewed more than 11.6 million times worldwide since its launch, making it the most-watched non-English-language fiction on the US platform between October 2nd and 8th.
While Netflix has yet to announce Lupine’s renewal for an additional season, the shocking ending to this season 3 episode left fans wanting more.
