Rachel Sheherazade didn’t take long to speak out after being kicked out of “A Fazenda 15.” The journalist used her Instagram profile to communicate with the public on Friday evening (19/10), while the Record TV program showed scenes of her expulsion. In the video, already at home, Rachel reassures her followers: “I’m fine! As you all know, this morning I left the ‘Fazenda’, I’m at home, I’ve already been hugged by my children, by my dear mother, I’m in their company I’m at peace, I’m fine.”
The journalist also indicated that, in the future, she intends to provide more clarification on the reasons that led her to abandon the reality show. “Soon I will talk to you again about the reasons why I left the program. For contractual reasons I can’t talk yet, but I want to leave you alone,” she promised.
She concluded her speech by thanking her fans and friends for their affection, as well as for their support and defense on the Internet, in the situation that forced her to leave the confinement of Itapecerica da Serra.
The promised clarifications will be provided on Sunday (22/10), during the broadcast “Hora do Faro”, as announced by the presenter of “A Fazenda”, Adriane Galisteu.
The expulsion
Rachel Sheherazade was kicked off “A Fazenda 15” after getting into a long argument with Jenny Miranda about the week’s homework delegations. The argument began as soon as the Farmer of the Week asked the reporter to look after the programme’s sheep, at which point Rachel refused to do the job, saying she was from the waste delegation and was 50 years old, and relented the responsibility shifts back to Jenny, ordering him to replace her. Jenny didn’t accept the way Rachel reacted and kept her in her role. Rachel was equally stubborn and did not respond to the animal’s call and, as a result, the participants suffered a 48-hour punishment without gas. Most of the inmates rebelled against the journalist.
After the confusion, Rachel decided to take on the role. But she only went to the animal area when Jenny, who had gone to change, came down with her. Marcia Fu had to go get Jenny, but she asked Rachel to go ahead, because the sheep call was sounding again. Rachel initiated the deal with the help of Lucas Souza, but Jenny soon arrived saying that she would help her. The situation was the stimulus for a new discussion within the rural reality show, culminating in the scene in which Rachel put her hand on Jenny’s face to push her.
The announcement of the expulsion was conveyed to the participants in a statement: “According to page 26 of the Survival Manual, attitudes that could put at risk the physical integrity of others, whether they are part of the cast or the production team of the program , I am banned,” the note begins. The message later informed that Rachel was out of action, adding that other pedestrians should pack the reporter’s bags.
The program team also canceled the Roça of the week, which would have been played between André Gonçalves, Kally Fonseca and Nadja Pessoa.
