“Return of the King”: This boy hero made a prominent appearance in Episode 6 of Gen V

Warning, spoilers! The following article reveals an important element of Episode 6.

Episode 6 of Gen V, which is now available, marks the return of one of the characters from The Boys series. As Marie (Jez Sinclair) and her three classmates attempt to resuscitate Kate (Maddie Phillips), the students enter her mind and uncover her buried memories. Thus, they find a child, Kate, facing the police and her mother, who blames her for the disappearance of her brother, Caleb.

Hiding behind a tree, Marie and the others are surprised by… a boy soldier. The character, still played by Jensen Ackles, returns as a hero, but what is he doing here? “I was Kate’s imaginary friend when she was littlehe explains. Her boyfriend, actually.

The soldier boy goes on to reveal that he was even her sexual awakening. A confession that puts the students of Godolkin University in complete embarrassment. As lightning appears, the hero explains that it is a manifestation of his brain. “If it ends up being a vegetable, so do you“- he adds.

As he is about to give advice on how to escape Kate’s thoughts, the boy soldier is struck by lightning and immediately disappears. It is finished completely toasted. Of course, it was just a fantasy.

This look was familiar to fans of The Boys. Jensen Ackles revealed the scoop at the Supernatural Fan Convention in April 2023. site Entertainment Weekly caught the actor’s eye a few weeks ago on the set.

Originally, Jensen Ackles was not scheduled to appear in this episode. A cameo was to be played by Taylor Lautner, the recurring role of Jacob in The Twilight Saga – one of the biggest teenage fantasies of the 2010s. The information was published by the creators of Gen V. in the columns of Variety. Unfortunately, Taylor Lautner declined the offer.
