Last September, at a masterclass at the La Rochelle Art Festival, where she was president of the jury, Audrey Fleuro revealed her playful method of drawing characters.
Engrenages, Un Village Français, Intouchables and of course the flagship TF1 series with an incredible audience, HPI: Audrey Fleur Played iconic roles! Looking back on his entire career, the actor spoke about what allowed him to do his roles: first of all, the costumes, especially important in historical series such as Le Bazar de la charité or Les combatants.
“A suit is fundamental to me. Of course, because I am from the theater. I find it a bit annoying in modern movies when they ask you to put your clothes back on when you feel more comfortable. Personally, I don’t want to wear my own clothes at all. I have to look at myself in the mirror, see the character and forget myself. At the end of the preparation, I want to say to myself: “Oh, yes, well, the character is there!”.“
But beyond the costumes, the now-famous Morgan Alvaro translator has another method that allows him to get under the skin of his characters: perfume.
This is my little quirk: I love perfume and, for each character, I like to think about which one suits them best. Then I wear only this for the duration of the shoot.
He also keeps these bottles to remember his roles. “My only nostalgia is these bottles!“- he specifies.
Since then, everyone is interested in the question: what is Morgan Alvaro’s perfume? HPI ? His answer says a lot about the given character.
It’s cheap, very vanilla and you can buy it at the supermarket. I use it a lot, but I have no complaints so far!
This is a scent that truly fits your favorite character.
