During a visit to the Un si grand soleil studios in Vendarg last July, Cesar Merrick, Mark Maury’s translator, answered our questions about the future of the pair, which promises to produce a lot of ink in the coming weeks.
Allocine: Leonor almost lost her life after a robbery gone wrong. How will Mark react?
Cesar Merrick : Mark falls back into Leonor’s arms. It will open his eyes and rekindle the fire within him.
As Leonor has a relationship with Enrique (Julien Masdoua), I imagine this is the beginning of a love triangle…
There will indeed be a love triangle, but it won’t last long. There will be some small scenes where the three get together. If Leonor tries to move in with Enrique, she will quickly realize that she only has eyes for Marc. This is the beginning of a new love story for Mark and Leonor.
Can we consider this a serious love story?
I do not know. Leonor and Mark were always at each other’s throats. So not saying it works, but they are in love and motivated either way.
how louis (Sylvain Bocara) does he experience it?
He will be very happy.
For your part, are you excited to tour with Maeva Pascual and Sylvain Bocara?
I’m very happy. We are delighted. We get along really well and it’s always nice. They are great actors, we really have fun together. It’s very strange because Sylvain looks a lot like my father in real life (laughs).
Eventually, Mark interacts a bit outside of the family until then. Can he make friends with some of the characters in the series?
Not at this time. I wish the writers would have developed a friendship with Becker, that could have been really good. I would also love to play with Yvonne Beck, who I adore.
On the family side, Jacques Maury (Olivier Pages), Mark’s father, could he be returning to the series?
Yes. We will definitely have other interactions in the future. I hope so anyway. The Moore family is a clan that is truly establishing itself.

I have a small role. I play the head of BIS. It’s a very physical and action role that I see as a gift. I had a lot of fun. It was a pleasure to direct Melanie Laurent.
