Did you know that Chuck Lorre (creator of The Big Bang Theory, Dharma & Greg, Young Sheldon) and Charlie Sheen (Anger Management, My Uncle Charlie) finally put their differences aside? However, we talked about this last April. Well, the two men reunited in the working world around the comedy Bookie (How to be a bookieoriginal version) Max!
Although Max and Warner Bros. The TV station initially refused to reveal anything about this new collaboration, but now we have a little more information about what Chuck Lorre has in store for us with this new comedy.
We know the series will follow Danny, an old-school bookie who is now struggling to deal with the challenges of the impending legalization of sports betting. Add complex family dynamics and a growing list of unpredictable clients.
Bookie is Chuck Lorre and Nick Buckeye (Mom, Young Sheldon) and takes place in Los Angeles. The series intends to present the most exclusive and less glamorous areas of the city.
The cast includes Sebastian Maniscalco (comedian seen in Green Book and The Irishman) as Danny, Vanessa Ferlito (CSI: Manhattan) as Lorraine, Andrea Anders (Mr. Sunshine) as Sanra and Jorge Garcia (Lost) as Hector, among many others.

And Charlie Sheen in all of this? It’s still a well-kept secret. But the main thing is that after being away for a while they meet again. Their eight-year collaboration on My Uncle Charlie ended in 2011 when Charlie Sheen (who earned four Emmy nominations for his role in the series) had a public breakup, including an unkind attack on Laurie.
This led to his firing and a $100 million lawsuit against the director and Warner Bros. television. The lawsuit was eventually settled, but no one will ever forget Charlie Sheen, who claimed to possess tiger blood and claimed he was actually a wizard.
Eight episodes of the first season of Bookie are expected on Max from November 30. The series should logically be available in France via Warner Pass on Prime Video. Charlie Sheen may not appear in every episode, but he is confirmed to have a recurring role.
Since then, Shin regrets leaving. He also indicated that he wanted to make amends with Chuck Lorre. Today, 12 years after their first tiff, the duo have decided to work together again. We hope that their agreement will last.
