Palmeiras pays tribute to Abel Ferreira and the committee for three years at the club

The Portuguese were rewarded by all Palmeiras employees this Tuesday (31)

Tuesday morning (31) at Palmeiras was full of tributes to Abel Ferreira and his coaching staff on the occasion of the Portuguese team’s third anniversary of activity at Verdão.

In the presence of former president Maurício Galiotte, Verdão gathered all the employees on the Football Academy lawn to pay homage to the technical committee that achieved one of the greatest works in Verdão’s centenary history.

Abel and his assistants received a shirt with the number 3 from the hands of president Leila Pereira, before the alviverde’s last training session before the trip to Rio de Janeiro, where tomorrow the club will face Botafogo in the Brasileirão.

With eight titles won, Abel Ferreira and his coaching staff will leave an everlasting legacy not only to Palmeiras but also to Brazilian football, as all the knowledge gained by the quintet was shared in a book that was also a bestseller.
