Two of the top-rated superhero series are on Prime Video!

The launch of the second season of Invincible on Prime Video allows one of the best superhero series to return to television after a wait of more than two years!

This animated adaptation of the comic book written by Robert Kirkman (The Walking Dead) follows the adventures of a young aspiring vigilante, the son of the famous Omni-Man – a kind of mustachioed Superman with accelerated methods.

A story that rethinks the traditional codes of the superhero film in a world plagued by ultra-violence, Invincible comics were published in the United States from 2002 to 2018 and ran a total of 144 issues. In France, the series is available from Delcourt in complete format (eleven volumes are available, each offering a dozen chapters).

Prized for both the originality of its universe and its mature and realistic tone, Invincible is the second-highest-rated superhero series on AlloCiné (4.3/5), a spot it shares with Netflix’s Daredevil — also loved by fans for its own. An uncompromising representation of a man without fear.

In The Boys, there is a superhero team called Seven, whose members enjoy star status all over the world. But their leader, the Guardian, is also vigilant, as fearful of his invincible powers as his psychotic personality.

Delightful, shocking, and over-the-top (like his giant penis scene), the series is both a parody of superhero movies and a satire of our society.
