If you are a fan of game of Thrones Here’s some bad news. With the exception of A knight of the seven kingdomsexpected to begin filming in 2024, HBO has not approved any other spin-off series HAD (and you don’t even want to do that at the moment).
Fans of the saga were excited by the numerous rumors about new spin-offs. One of them pointed out that a series inspired by Aegon Targaryen’s conquest of Westeros was in development. Another would follow Jon Snow after the events of the main series.
But all hope is over after a statement from HBO CEO Casey Bloys to TVLine. He stated that no derivative of game of Thrones is close to approval for production. But wait, that doesn’t mean we’ll never have anything to do with this HAD on the small screen. Bloys himself underlined that the broadcaster “always works on scripts and listens to ideas from different sources”.
