The anime streaming service Crunchyroll has recently added games to its platform. The resource is called Crunchyroll Game Vault and is similar to the game system for Crunchyroll subscribers. Netflix.
The games are available for free only to subscribers to Crunchyroll’s Mega Fan and Ultimate Fan tiers, the two highest-cost tiers available. Additionally, the games will not have in-app purchases.
Initially, the platform offers only five games available. However, the stream plans to constantly add new titles to its catalogue, with the next wave of releases on the way.
Unlike other game subscription services, which have a wide variety of titles, Crunchyroll Game Vault will have games specifically for anime fans and anime-inspired entertainment.
The inclusion of games in the Crunchyroll subscription appears to be an interesting add-on, similar to the digital manga offered at the more expensive tiers. Additionally, Crunchyroll is also expanding its presence with partnerships, like the one it did with Walmart sell physical products in stores in United States of America.
