‘Rush! (Are U Coming?)’ has 5 new songs in English
By Claudia Fascia – Still engaged in the tour that took them around the world and recently awarded with two prizes at the European Music Awards (EMA), Måneskin find the time to publish, or rather, republish – also in preparation for Christmas – “Rush! (Are U Coming?)”, the new edition of his latest album “Rush!”, released in January, with five new songs in English: “Valentine”, “Off My Face”, “The Driver”, ” Trastevere” and the first song “Honey (Are U Coming?)”.
“Valentine” is a provocative rock ballad in which Damiano’s voice intertwines perfectly with Thomas’ guitar.
The new edition also features “Trastevere”, the song that the band played live for the first time during the show at Circo Massimo in 2022 and which can now be heard in the studio version.
The title is a tribute to the name of the neighborhood where the group grew up in Rome and is one of the rawest and most personal songs ever written and published so far.
“Off My Face” is an overwhelming mix that synthesizes Måneskin’s sound universe between an engaging groove and a powerful guitar riff. The lyrics address the theme of toxic love, telling how even a pure feeling can turn into an addiction.
And also “The Driver”, a song about falling in love, a true soundtrack to a love story that captures the moment when you realize you are madly in love, until you give up and lose control.
And then the latest single “Honey (Are U Coming?)”, an explosion of energy, in which the electric guitar riffs and the rhythmic part fit together with an incisive and captivating chorus.
A new music video for the song “Valentine” has also been released to accompany the album’s release, the first of the official videos for the new songs which will be released on the band’s YouTube channel.
“Rush! (Are U Coming?)” will have revamped artwork that reverses the provocative image of the original cover version, this time with the band replacing the girl.
The Deluxe version of the album also includes the “Loud Kids Journal”, a 152-page photo book featuring fan photos.
Upon release, “Rush!” it reached number one in 15 countries, entering the top five chart positions in 20 countries.
The album has surpassed 1.4 billion global streams, recently surpassing the billion stream mark on Spotify alone, contributing to the band’s 9.2 billion total streams.
From November 20th the band will be live for the first concerts in Australia and then in Japan, Ireland and the United Kingdom. .
