Clemens Poesy: From Harry Potter to Daryl Dixon, the French actor everyone is chasing in Hollywood!

When we talk about the most valuable French actresses in Hollywood, the names of Léa Seydoux, Marion Cotillard and, more recently, Camille Cotin, come up most often. And yet, many forget to mention Clement’s poetry, whose filmography would make many actors of his generation green with envy.

The French public discovered him in 2003 with the black comedy Bienvenue chez les Rozes. But the following year, he was chosen to lend his features to the French wizard Fleur Delacour in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, the fourth part of the famous saga.

A role he would reprise in the final two films of the franchise, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 1 and Part 1.

Clemens Poesy’s international career is clearly not limited to his appearance in The Sorcerer’s Apprentice Saga. At the dawn of her thirties, she appeared in the film Bons Baisers de Bruges in a secondary but still striking role, which allowed her to play opposite Colin Farrell.

Shortly after, he appeared in Danny Boyle’s 127 Hours. His role is limited to a few scenes, which represent a kind of paradise lost for the main character, played by James Franco, who is stuck in a canyon for the entire film with his arm crushed on a rock.

Clement’s poetry, truly appreciated by the great Anglo-Saxon cinematographers, also appeared in the casting of Christopher Nolan’s director Tenet. In this ambitious film on every level, the French actor plays a scientist who helps the film’s hero (John David Washington) decipher the code word “.Dogma“.

Also seen in the credits of historical series The Hollow Crown and The Essex Serpent, the 41-year-old actor lent his features to artist Françoise Gilot in the second season of the biographical anthology Genius, opposite Antonio Banderas as Pablo. Picasso.

He also dubbed Tunnel, a Franco-British remake of the Swedish-Danish series Bron. His main role in the series Daryl Dixon against Norman Reedus confirms the international popularity of Clemens poetry!
