Following Venom and Morbius and awaiting Kraven, Madame Web will expand Sony’s Marvel Universe, which focuses on characters related to Spider-Man, despite the latter’s absence from the films. Directed by SJ Clarkson, who worked on the Jessica Jones series, the feature film features a superhero played by Dakota Johnson who can see the future.
Cast as two versions of Spider-Woman, Julia Carpenter (Sidney Sweeney) and Matty Franklin (Celeste O’Connor) will also be present. Face off with a villain played by Tahar Rahim who continues his international adventures as a criminal and after Ridley Scott’s Napoleon.
The trailer, released on Wednesday, November 15, confirmed what the on-set photos of his stunt double suggested, namely that the actor revealed by The Prophet will be donning the Spider-Man outfit. At the time, there were two options as to who his character could be, and the first images from the film give us the answer.
Ezekiel Sims in comics
So Tahar Rahim plays a certain Ezekiel Sims. Created in 2001 in number 30 “The Amazing Spider-Man”He is a businessman and researcher who acquired Peter Parker-like powers during a ritual with spiders in Peru. He uses it only for himself and the empire he is building, not for others. But he’s not always bad in the comics.
He served as a mentor to Spider-Man for a while, trying to protect the latter and a similar vampire named Morlun who tried to absorb their powers. Based on what the trailer shows, have the heroes of Ezekiel and this villain teamed up as one antagonist that the heroes will have to fend off?
