Tom Hardy reveals he was the author of the plot of “Venom 3”

Actor Tom Hardy has revealed through his social networks the cover of the script for “Venom 3”, the continuation of the franchise he stars at Sony. The big news of the picture is the inclusion of the star’s name as a co-author of the story, along with Kelly Marcel, who worked on the first two films.

This isn’t the first time Hardy has been credited as a screenwriter on a project. He co-created the “Taboo” series with Steven Knight (“Peaky Blinders”) in 2017.

Sony confirmed the production last April, during the CinemaCon 2022 event, and this is the first information since then. There are no known details on the plot or release date.

Directed by Andy Serkis and starring Tom Hardy and Woody Harrelson, the second film in the series, “Venom: A Time for Carnage”, surpassed $ 500 million at the worldwide box office, joining the list of the highest grossing films during the pandemic period.
