This is where it all begins, Carla (Aaricia Lemaire) is looking for her parents and could find her mother… at the Auguste Armand Institute itself! In the Friday, November 17 episode, the young woman discovers that in early January 2005, one Gaspar Merin turned her in to social services.
Carla in search of her origins
However, while Rose (Vanessa Demoy) was still in a relationship with her narcissistically perverted ex Rafael, the latter allegedly gave birth to a stillborn child in early January 2005…also named “Gaspar Merrin”. A character in a novel written by Raphael!
Suspecting that it might be a coincidence, Rose suggests that Rafael lied to her about their child and that Carla might be none other than her daughter! Clotilda’s sister (Elsa Lungini) is determined to see things through…
In the episode of “This Is Where It All Begins”, which will be offered this Monday on TF1, Rose manages to steal Carla’s hair from the student’s brush. He sends it to the lab for DNA testing! But as Clotilde points out, this is an illegal practice…
Rose is Carla’s mother!
The chef worries that Rose will no longer receive treatment to stabilize her bipolar disorder, and that this baby will haunt her deeply. Clotilda therefore digs into the MA director’s affairs and surprises the main stakeholder! Fortunately, Rose assures him that she is still taking her meds.
Carla, on the other hand, continues to investigate and thinks that Gaspar Merin could be her father. He searches social networks and, surprisingly, a certain Gaspar Merin answers! They are planning a meeting the next day.
After researching this, Rose is completely disillusioned and realizes that her theory doesn’t hold water after all. He even confides in Antoine (Frederic Diefenthal) that he fears his treatment will no longer work… Furious, he then receives the results of the DNA tests: he and Carla are indeed mother and daughter!
