The Spanish press echoes Cristiano Ronaldo’s comment on a photo of Marcelo on Instagram: “congratulations, crake”, commented CR7, with emojis next to it (see photo). The most curious thing, however, is that the publication and the comment took place last November 6, two days after the victory of the Influenza over the Libertadores.
The photo in question is the one in which Marcelo appears next to his wife and children and holding the Copa Libertadores in his hand. It is worth mentioning that Marcelo and Cristiano Ronaldo are idols of Real Madrid, where they played together from 2009 to 2018. During this period, the couple won, among others, four Champions Leagues and three World Cups.
Marcelo, on the other hand, played for Real Madrid between 2007 and 2022, when he left and spent just six months at Olympiacos (GRE). In February he agreed to return to Fluminense, the club that revealed him and which he defended between 2005 and 2006. He thus has two Cariocas for the Tricolor (2005 and 2023), in addition to the Libertadores, a Taça Guanabara and a Taça Rio .
After winning the Libertadores, Fluminense fulfills the program only in the Brasileirão, after all, it no longer has any chance of becoming champions or relegating. Tricolore Carioca is eighth, with 47 points.
