Mean Girls will have its musical version in the film version and promises to touch our side of Regina George. To warm up fans, Paramount released new character posters.
Just like in the first version, Tina Fey continues to be part of the scenes and is hired as a producer of the new version.
According to the official synopsis, the plot is adapted from the Broadway hit and tells of Cady Heron’s arrival at the top of the social chain in the popular girl group called “As Patricinhas”, led by Regina George and her friends Gretchen and Karen. However, when Cady makes the mistake of falling for Regina’s ex-boyfriend, Aaron Samuels, she becomes Regina’s main enemy. As Cady plans to destroy the Patricinhas group with the help of her friends Janis (Auli’i Cravalho) and Damian (Jaquel Spivey), she tries to find a balance between maintaining her essence and dealing with the most dangerous jungle of all: high school.
The premiere date is set for January 10th.
