The southeast region has a lot of sun and heat on weekends

For the first weekend of December the forecast reveals a scenario of intense heat in the South-East Region, with favorable weather conditions for walking and enjoying the beach, with calm seas. Rain could be heavy in Minas Gerais over the weekend.

Sao Paulo: bright sun and possible isolated rain

In the capital Sao Paulo, in the centre, south and east of the state and along the entire coast, a sunny Saturday is expected, with no chance of rain. For the centre, north and west of the state, however, the scenario changes slightly. Sunshine will prevail throughout the day, but rain showers may occur in the afternoon and evening, influenced by the daytime warming.

The sun will shine again across the state on Sunday, but rain is expected in the west and north of the state, in the Paraíba and Ribeira valleys and in Mantiqueira, due to daytime warming and high humidity. It may rain at night in Greater São Paulo and along the coast.

Minas Gerais: sun and warning for thunderstorms

In Minas Gerais, sunshine will be predominant throughout Saturday, with rain expected starting in the afternoon across the state. There is a thunderstorm warning on Saturday in almost all regions of Minas Gerais, except in southern Minas and northern Minas Gerais, on the border with Bahia. It can rain a lot in Grande Belo Horizonte.

The sun appears strong throughout the day on Sunday, but rain showers again occur across the state in the afternoon and evening. Rainfall is expected to intensify in the western part of the state.

Rio de Janeiro and Espírito Santo: sunny with isolated showers

In Rio de Janeiro and Espírito Santo the weather will be sunny on Saturday, with isolated rain showers forecast that will not accumulate significantly. The coast of Rio de Janeiro and the capital Rio de Janeiro will have a sunny Saturday.

Sunny weather will prevail on Sunday, with only isolated light drizzles, which should occur mainly in the afternoon and evening. Rio de Janeiro and Vitória will be among the hottest capitals on Sunday.
