The Amazon series “Fallout” took a big step forward in its promotion by releasing its first trailer this Saturday (2). The launch took place at CCXP23, on the Thunder Stage, with a presentation by Ikaro Kadoshi and Patrícia Gomes.
Actors Ella Purnell, Aaron Moten and Walton Goggins were also present during the event. Jonathan Nolan, executive producer and director, and Graham Wagner, executive producer and co-showrunner, were other big names of the time.
In the trailer for the live-action adaptation of “Fallout,” everything starts similarly to the games in the series: a vault dweller leaves his refuge to face the dangerous post-apocalyptic world. In this hostile scenario, the character Lucy, played by Ella Purnell (known as “Yellowjackets”), experiences intense and iconic moments of the series.
Standout visual highlights include terrifying mutant animals, ruined cities and details of the militarized Brotherhood of Steel.
There’s also a “Wild West” feel with lots of gunfire and an exceptionally skilled dog. The soundtrack features the song “I Don’t Want To See Tomorrow,” by Nat King Cole, and the narrative takes place 200 years after the apocalypse, culminating in the nuclear explosion that transformed the world.
The cast also includes Walton Goggins as a ghoul, Aaron Moten as Maximus and other familiar faces like Kyle MacLachlan (from “Twin Peaks”) and Zach Cherry (from “Severance”). The new character posters point to a significant role for the dog in the plot.
Fallout arrives on Prime in April
“Fallout” is scheduled to premiere on April 12, 2024 on Prime Video. The series is based on the game saga of the same name from distributor Bethesda, which is carrying out other very interesting productions, such as the highly anticipated science fiction epic “Starfield”.
