The second season of Halo will debut in February on Paramount+

A Fundamental announced at CCXP23 that the second season of HaloTV series based on the Xbox shooter, already has a release date: February 8, 2024, with the first two episodes available on the Paramount+ streaming service.

The news was shared together with a teaser and the presence of the actors Pablo Schreiber (Chief Chief) and Joseph Morgan (James Ackerson), together with the showrunner David Vienna and the executive producer, Kiki Wolfkill. Watch the teaser for Halo season 2:

In season two, Master Chief leads his team of Spartans against the alien threat of the Covenant. Set in an alternate timeline – and therefore different from the plot seen in the games – the Halo series features: Pablo Schreiber (American Gods) as Master Chief, Spartan-117; Natascha McElhone (Californication) as Dr. Halsey; and Jen Taylor (Halo game series, RWBY) as Cortana. Returning members from season one include: Bokeem Woodbine (Fargo), Shabana Azmi (Fire), Natasha Culzac (The Witcher), Olive Gray (Half Moon Investigations), Yerin Ha (Reef Break), Bentley Kalu (Avengers: Age of Ultron ), Kate Kennedy (Catastrophe), Charlie Murphy (Peaky Blinders) and Danny Sapani (Penny Dreadful).

New names in the cast, arriving in season two, include: Joseph Morgan (Vampire Diaries, The Originals) and Cristina Rodlo (Nobody Leaves Alive, The Homeless World Cup).

Morgan joins the series as James Ackerson, a formidable intelligence officer who has spent his career rising through the ranks of the United Nations Security Council’s secretive naval intelligence office. Rodlo plays Táli Pérez, a corporal specializing in linguistics for a UNSC Marine Corps communications unit and a relatively new recruit who has yet to experience any real combat.

Returning from season one, Laera (Fiona O’Shaughnessy) is Soren’s confidante, wife and partner. Kessler (Tylan Bailey), son of Soren and Laera, had a relatively peaceful, if unusual, childhood growing up among the rubble.
