King Kong + Pink Godzilla = One of the most spectacular movie trailers of 2024 in theaters?

Clash of the Titans returns to our theaters on April 10, 2024. Three years after meeting and fighting to make peace, Godzilla and King Kong are reunited. We’re faced with a threat that The New Empire’s trailer shows us amid a flurry of special effects and potentially Dantesque imagery.

Directed by Adam Wingard, who has already signed on for the previous opus, the film is part of a shared universe that began with Gareth Edwards’ Godzilla in 2014. And which currently continues on the small screen thanks to the Monarch series broadcast on AppleTV+, which is especially dedicated to making the connection between feature films.

Rebecca Hall, Brian Tyree Henry and Kaylee Hotley are back in action in the 2021 film. Faced with Godzilla, who changed his blue to pink (following Barbie’s success?) and King Kong with an iron glove. It’s time for the story, which should mostly take place on Skull Island, a giant gorilla island whose secrets we have to discover.

Starting with King Kong’s son? Of the New Titans we see here, this one stands out the most, as if to give a taste of the emotional journey of the King of Place as he prepares to face off against an old enemy: Scar King.

Trapped in a hollow earth by King Kong, in the mythology of the characters, this giant orangutan appears to be the story’s big bad guy, based on the revealed posters and these few shots from the trailer. including one that shows him on the throne.
