On December 16, Disney+ subscribers will have the opportunity to watch the final show of former Beatles Paul McCartney’s “Got Back” tour live in Brazil. The show will be broadcast directly from the Maracanã Stadium, in Rio de Janeiro (RJ).
This will be the first time the stream will broadcast a live show held in Brazil, marking a significant milestone for the streaming platform. More than 150 professionals will be involved in the broadcast.
Coverage of the show will begin at 9:15 p.m. It will be an opportunity for fans of Paul McCartney and music in general to enjoy an exclusive show in the comfort of their own homes.
General Manager of Disney Brazil, Renato D’Angelo, expressed his excitement about the debut of the broadcast of the shows in the country: “We are very happy to debut the live broadcast of the shows with this iconic performance by Paul McCartney, strengthening our commitment to offer unique and exclusive experiences so that the Brazilian public can access them from anywhere,” he said.
In addition to the broadcast on Disney+, subscribers will also have the option to watch the show on Star+, Disney’s streaming platform that brings additional content from the group’s other channels, such as ESPN sports channels. This way, fans will be able to choose which platform they prefer to enjoy the show.
